Garden Tribe is a small family business set up by Lesley Rogers, with the support of her husband Steve, and has been trading since June 2006.

 

It may be strange but the inspiration for the business came from making a loss!

 

When Lesley lost her favourite secateurs she decided to look for a belt that that she could wear that would keep tools and other bits and pieces safe and handy.

 

Having looked around garden centres, flower shows and visiting Chelsea in May 2005, she realised there was nothing on the market that did the job properly, and this spurred Lesley on to complete her own designs. We also realised that there was very little available that appealed to more modern design tastes.

 

We therefore came up with the idea of a range of contemporary, funky looking yet well designed gardening products, and Garden Tribe was born!

 

It seemed like there were plenty of other people with the same problem of loosing small tools, and our original tool belts were soon in great demand at Flower and Garden Shows up and down the country.

 

We have gradually expanded the Garden Tribe range, and complement it with other great gardening products that we think are technically good, and co-ordinate with our products.

 

At the start of the business our aim was to produce products that were good enough to be sold at the Chelsea Flower Show. In 2008 we achieved this, and have been back every year since. We are also proud to say that you can find us at RHS Wisley.

 

Our greatest satisfaction comes from meeting customers needs, and we love it when people come back and tell us how much they love our products.

 

In October this year we are moving from Stirling to Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway where the next chapter will begin. Watch this space.....
